Unlock Journal
End-to-end encryption helps protect your privacy by turning journal content into unreadable ciphertext before it is saved. Only your passphrase can unlock it, so the company cannot read your entries.
JournalForever™
$5 / month
Start with the first month free. Free accounts include sensible content limits to reduce abuse; premium raises capacity for long-term journaling.
Trial or active subscription required before unlock. Payment uses the JournalForever™ payment service and Razorpay Checkout.
Premium recovery
Reset account access by email
Premium email restores account access. Encrypted journal content is recovered only with your passphrase, recovery key/file, or trusted device file.
Email verification restores subscription/account access only. The server cannot decrypt journals.
Recovery & reset process
Verify premium email if needed, then use a recovery key/file or trusted device file below. Set a new web passphrase after the vault key is recovered.
Use Face ID/biometric if enabled. If that is unavailable, unlink this phone locally and approve it again from the unlocked main web journal.
Open this web Account panel and revoke that device. The phone stops receiving future sync once revoked.
Without the passphrase, recovery key/file, trusted device file, or another unlocked trusted device, old encrypted content cannot be decrypted.
Recover encrypted journal content
To reset the web passphrase without losing old entries, provide a recovery key/file or trusted device file.
Add this phone or tablet
Use this when your journal is already open on another device. This browser creates a join request; approve the code on the unlocked laptop.
The phone key stays on this device. The laptop encrypts journal access specifically for it.
